(EDIT) Soil Mapper
Stolar’s
electromagnetic wave detection and imaging
transceiver (EDIT) measures resonance to detect
objects up to 40 inches from the EDIT detector.
EDIT transmits energy into the ground and
‘energizes’ objects that store and release that
energy at their resonant frequency. EDIT then
detects, measures, and creates an image from the
physical action of the object storing and
releasing that energy. The detection and
measurement takes place in the EDIT Resonant
microstrip patch antenna (RMPA), which
accumulates energy from the energized object,
thus changing the RMPA’s impedance. The changed
impedance is the indication that an anomaly is in the ground.
