Miner’s Outreach and Black Lung Clinic Programs

Stolar is supportive of the efforts made by Miner’s Colfax Medical Center (MCMC) and their mobile unit.  MCMC is taking steps to aid coal miners plagued by Coal Workers Pneumoconiosis or Black Lung and other coal mining induced illnesses.  Stolar encourages any miners who feel they may have such conditions to take advantage of the free screening provided by MCMC.  

Stolar Scholarship Program
Stolar encourages excellence in students from Raton, NM and the surrounding area.  The company offers a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 for the academic year to interested students meeting the following criteria: 

    • 3.0 overall GPA
    • Academic achievement in math and science
    • Attending New Mexico State University
    • Majoring in mechanical or electrical engineering.
